On April 24, 2022, The Royal Order of Kamehameha and Aunty Pua Case’s hālau held a special ceremony to commemorate the return of the annual Merrie Monarch Festival. Following the ceremony, Case’s hālau held a sacred gathering in honor of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
